Since the 1900's our families would migrate from Crystal City Texas, to work in the fields of potatoes in Delavan, Beets in Racine, cherries in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin, sugar beets in Fargo Minnesota, cherries in Michigan, Cabbage, beets in Toledo Ohio & sugar beets Grand Forks North Dakota.
They would return back to Texas to harvest watermelons, oranges, grapefruits, onions & spinach.
During the breaks they would eat tacos filled with varied meats and vegetables topped with salsas. Our family is proud to now serve you these same tacos at Migrants Madison!
